Shay Carter McGraw - Piano

 Shay Carter McGraw is a professional musician and experienced music educator based in Pittsburgh, PA. She holds a B.A. in Music Performance from West Virginia Wesleyan College, where she studied piano and pipe organ. With more than a decade of teaching experience, Shay blends her formal classical training with expertise across a range of styles—including pop, musical theater, gospel, and jazz—to deliver engaging piano lessons for students of all ages and skill levels. 

In addition to teaching, Shay is an active sacred musician and currently serves as Director of Music at Sixth Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh. She lives in the Greenfield neighborhood with her husband, Chris, and their mini poodle, Paul.
