Amanda Ascencio is a Board-Certified Music Therapist who began her musical journey at age 5. She began studying voice at age 7 and joined The Children's Festival Chorus of Pittsburgh (CFC) at age 9. Amanda has also studied guitar, piano, and drums. She has experience teaching private lessons, facilitating music therapy groups with a wide variety of people, and performing as a soloist.
Amanda studied Music Therapy at Seton Hill University, with voice as her main instrument, under Dr. Kelly Fiona Lynch, and earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy in 2021. Her music therapy training and experience greatly inform all of her work, including her approach to teaching.
